Overview

There are two major things that everyone should know about the Har Ki Dun Trek. The first thing is perfect for beginners. The second one is usually treated as one of the most charming trips in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas. It is also named as Valley (Dun) of God or Shiva (Har).

The History

It is retained that this valley holds spiritual importance for Hindus and allows its ancient history of Mahabharata. As stated by the residents of that place, the eldest brother of Pandavas, Yudhishthira, rated the Himalayan mountains as “Swargarohini” on the way to the wonderland.

After the death of Lord Krishna, wise person Vyasa suggested Pandavas leave and give up their kingdom as the ambition of their life had been supplied. their ruler, and took leave from the place of Hastinapur and started their traveling towards heaven. As the Pandavas left at the time of the journey they took the dog as befriends along with their journey towards heaven.

On their part of the journey, they went by the way of Har Ki Dun valley to upwards of Swargarohini Mountain. Swargarohini is called the only entrance of the wonderland on the planet according to Hindu Mythology. On the way of the journey Draupadi passed away because of her partiality toward arjuna and next died Sahadeva because of his pride and no one is like him in the world and followed by Nakula because of arrogant and Arjuna died because of his thought of being most skilled and last die Bheema glutton and always eat something or other hunger.

Only Yudhishtra and the dog were only able to finish the traveling. According to history, Yudhishtra was the only person who reached heaven because he never lied in his lifetime.

The Trek

 Many travelers opt to travel around 12kms per day, as per their convenience. There are some hilly areas,  On the way, people will get the chance to view rich high altitude forests, exciting low-hanging valleys, and amazing mountainous icy fields. Itinerary

The Har Ki Dun trek starts from the famous traveling place of Dehradun. This wonderful city is one of the oldest in India and is popular for its marvelous designs and vision of the lower Himalayas. From the place of Dehradun, the people have to travel for 12 km across the smooth landscape, moving through the thick pine forests and previously gushing groundwater waterfalls, up to the large distance people come across the Karmnasha small rivers, which give a chance to flash the the the colorful local survival and trees. On the second day of the journey, a beautiful vision of fields crossed the bridge over the River Supin. After the small expansion of gentle climbing towards the hill, people will reach the campsite at Kalkatiyadhar. People will have some rest here for the day in order to go on risk for the next day of travel.

On the third day of Journey, Har Ki Dun Trek gives the most marvelous vision of a complete journey. people hike through the grasslands and thick pine forest, at the time of their journey. people reach the valley and start a challenge at the camp at the Har Ki Dun. This expansion is beautiful, giving an amazing vision of the surrounding mountains and ice fields. Tourists will get accommodation at this place to take a rest for the day.

On the day of the journey, a pleasant falling trip to Osla gives an astonishing vision of the surrounding terrains. Many tourists stop their journeys at night time at the Osla, a township where the people are friendly and amazing by itself. On the final day of the journey, it continues downwards to the Sankri and is considered as a more beautiful hilly vision and rich grassland. After reaching the destination, the journey returns back to Dehradun by road.
